Shirley Rosenthal was a Buffalo, N.Y.-based mixed media and enamel artist. She has been exhibiting enamel wall-panels since 1965 and has participated in national juried shows sponsored by the American Crafts Council at Rhinebeck, N.Y., and Baltimore, Maryland, since the dawn of the 21st century.
Rosenthal has taught enameling at the Jewish Center of Greater Buffalo, at the Kenan Center in Lockport, N.Y., and at Elderhostel sessions in Lewiston, N.Y.
She participated in the Kenan Center Craft Festival (100 American Craftsmen) every year since 1972, and has been awarded Master Craftsman status and the Best of Show Award. In 2013 she received a one-person show at the Jewish Community Center in Getzville, N.Y. She was a member of the Buffalo Society of Artists.
