Roberley Ann Bell is a sculptor. She grew up in Latin America and Southeast Asia, and eventually returned to the United States to attend the University of Massachusetts and SUNY Alfred, where she received an M.F.A. in Sculpture.
She has exhibited nationally and internationally at places such as the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Dieu Donne Gallery in New York City and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, among others. She has been awarded grants and fellowships such as a Polluck Krasner Fellowship, a Fulbright to the Netherlands and several residency awards.
Bell’s website states that her projects “examine ideas related to the built environment exploring the relationship between the manmade and the natural in landcape focusing on the artifice of nature. Bell creates both exterior and interior works.”
