Rebecca Soike

Rebecca Soike is a ceramic artist who works and draws inspiration from the Buffalo region. Originally from western Pennsylvania, Soike now resides in western New York. Soike pursued her Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and participated in Buffalo State College's Siena Program in Siena, Italy. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education. Currently, she is finishing her Masters of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies in Ceramics and Museum Studies from Buffalo State College. She has also studied as a graduate student through West Virginia University;s study abroad program in the procelain capital of the world, Jingdezhen China, in association with the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute.

About the western New York region, Soike writes, "western New York has always been inspiring to me and provided me with the opportunity for taking my ceramic work to the next level."
