Michele Agosto is a photographer and educator who was born and raised in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. She received her education from the School of Visual Arts (BFA in Photography, 1992), RIT (MST in Art Education, 1994), and the University at Buffalo (Masters in Educational Administration, 2003). She began teaching art in Buffalo in 1994 and is currently Supervisor of Art Education for the Buffalo City School District. Her award-winning work as a photographer has been exhibited in a number of area galleries, including the Castellani Art Museum and Meibohm Fine Arts Gallery (both in conjunction with the Buffalo Society of Artists), El Museo Francisco Oller Y Diego Rivera, Buffalo Arts Studio, Karpeles Manuscript Library, Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, Kenan Center, Hi-Temp Fabrication, Artspace, and Impact Artists Gallery.
