Kerima Collier

“When I picked up the brush and began to paint, my spirit opened up and I knew I was home.” -Kerima Collier

Kerima Collier, a native Buffalonian and graduate of the Park School of Buffalo, began her fascination with creating artwork through various mediums as a young child.  She obtained her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. and began her establishment as a painter in 2013.  Her work has been featured in group shows and most recently in October 2016, her individual art exhibition “Mind, Spirit And Vision: Paintings by Kerima Collier was featured at the Main Street Gallery in Buffalo NY.  Her paintings both abstract and realistic, are colorful and merge the precision of design with the fluidity of free expression.
