Katherine Gaudy pushes for viewers of her work to exploring the way we see. She uses a variety of materials to push her viewers to consider how her sources of her sculpture pieces seem at odds with its meanings. In her art show “A Billion” at the Big Orbit Gallery in 2016, she captures “haphazard mode of misuse and experimentation in which simple and elemental gestures are treated with intense and careful attention to a humorous effect, a stumbling around and gradual entry into the refined.” [2]
