Elizabeth Licata is a Buffalo based editor, writer and curator. She is the editor and chief of Buffalo Spree magazine, a position she’s held since 1999. Under her leadership, Buffalo Spree has expanded from four quarterly issues to 12 monthly issues and has since become an award-winning regional publication. Prior to Licata’s work at Buffalo Spree, she worked as a curator at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University. She has served as past Board President of Squeaky Wheel and the Allentown Association.[1] Licata has also spent over 20 years as a freelance writer; she is a regular contributor for Garden Rant, an online gardening blog. She has been published in several publications including Fine Gardening, Horticulture, ArtNews and Art in America, among others. She has also authored two books, 100 Things to Do in Buffalo Before You Die and Garden Walk Buffalo.
