"A professional artist, working primarily in an abstract-realism style. Through differing balances of color, brushwork, and paint applications, I try to create a time and place for my subject matter, whether it be a landscape, animal, or still life. I find inspiration in the depth of color and form in the natural world, rural vistas, beaches, marsh, and shorelines, although I am equally inspired in the studio setting painting a still life. A classically trained painter having earned a BFA with a concentration in painting awarded The Faculty of Arts and Letters for outstanding achievement in the field of Art BFA University of Buffalo at Buffalo NY. Owned and operated Deborah R Hill Interiors, a residential & commercial design business in Buffalo, NY 1997-2010. Returned to painting full-time in 2010."
