(b. 1986)
A native to the Buffalo/Niagara region, Andy Krzystek earned his BFA in Printmaking from the University at Buffalo in 2014, and spent much of his twenties working and traveling across the country, developing a genuine interest in all walks of life. Ultimately drawn back to Buffalo by the attics, basements, and open lots of the DIY music and arts scene, he currently works as a resident artist at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and as a professor at Villa Maria College.
Krzystek has exhibited widely throughout Western New York and beyond in group and solo exhibitions at venues such as Villa Maria College, Box Gallery, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Hunt Gallery, Dolce Valvo Art Center, and South Devon College in England. His work has been recognized in several publications and features, including the Hertel Mural Fest (2025), Vinyl Moon Vol. 55 as a featured artist, an Illustrator Spotlight Editor's Pick on Booooooom.com (2019), and front cover features in The Public (2018 and 2017).
