Each screen is composed of a slow rate of “movement” of “Specimen II,” in one direction, superimposed with similarly slow-moving images of “Specimen II,” moving in the opposite direction. Slight variations in rate of frame passage generate, in oppositional superimposition, a constant emergent expansion and contradiction of color areas; frame images from one screen seem to slide into adjacent screens. A suspicious “presence.” Brandy glasses falling-shattering, displacing attention, “like a dream,” etc.
