The first real spring feeling Wed. night in Buffalo—late afternoon sunlight on the buildings. Then Thursday morning, rumbling sounds in the earth. P.M. sketch from our front porch of Albarelli’s. I scarcely know him to proceed, so long as it been since I painted. Feb. 6—Sunday—Keeping B in bed she does not argue much which proves she needs to stay in.
