Letters from Eve & Cathie. || A beautiful warm sunshiny day – cicadas.A quiet evening – listening to the radio.; ; ; ; ; Sept 28 (Tues.)A.M. – B & I to Bailey Market for peaches, apples, tomatoes, & grapes. All A.M. – on “The Star” pulling it together.P.M. – framing one small picture – etc. Another calm, almost cloudless day – warm & drowsy. Cicadas again. – ; ; ; ; ; Sept. 29 – Oct. 6 – Working on picture frames etc.Have decided to send only 7 now – ; ; ; ; ; Oct. 7 (Thurs.)Packing the last two pictures – fine sunny day – it was a pleasure working outdoors, doing physical labor.Evening – B & I to Maxine – “Letter from an unknown woman” a fine & sensitive love story, ending tragically – We are planning to go to Kansas next Monday or Tuesday. ; ; ; ; ; Oct. 8, FridayDark, cool, rainy day.
