way to the “City Line” to shop, I took it to her & asked her how it happened. She disclaimed responsibility, and I believed her, but the point is, that I was still stirred up. Perhaps the weather—hot, muggy, misty, was responsible. At any rate, when I pulled in to the curb on Seneca St to park, I misjudged and caught my right rear fender on the bumper of another car, ripping it lose, & tearing it, and also the hub-cap. The owner of the other car was there, and we exchanged names & numbers etc. (The law states that in accidents involving $25 or more, a report must be made.) It was clearly all my fault, and all the damage to me, so I suggested we ship the report etc. to which he, of course was agreeable.; ; ; ; ; _________________; Finished up the picture for Golden, and packed and sent it off by express.; ; ; ; ; ________________; Evening B & I to Maxine to see “High Barbaree.” (Van Johnson, June Allyson, Thomas Mitchell, Claude (Yearling) Jarman—a very appealing picture)—at the end of the picture Mart came & spoke to us, they had been sitting in the row in front of us, to the right.
