Aug 26. (Tues.); Redding up studio—studying the cartoon for “Moonlight in a Garden (1917) and “Storm over Bearden Hills”—Art boards for frames & “Gen. St. Bldg”—; Evening B & I to Java Village (by a roundabout route) intending to call on Lois Fisher. She however, was not at home. Home by way of Chaffee & E. Aurora.; ; ; ; ; Aug 27 (Wed.); Letters from Erie—; Preliminary mounting of boards cut yesterday—; Letter to Sally & Red.; Evening—B & I to Bailey Th. To see “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.”—A fanciful whimsy well done. We stayed for the Bingo. B got one, but since there were more Bingo’s than space allotted on the board, the extras had to guess the number of dollars in the M.C.’s hand. We guess wrong.
