tired, and set out for home. By way of the Cole Road.Aug. 2 (Sat)—A.M. B & I to Dr. He cut out the wen on B’s back.Most of the afternoon setting out the plants. They looked very well when it was all complete.Aug 3Late P.M. B—C—M.A. and I to Great Lakes to see “Dear Ruth”—a charming comedy.Aug 4—Hot and humid—all at once. All verdure has the coppery bronze look of August.After a trip to Dr. for check—up, B & I to Buffalo shopping.Noon—M.A.—M& C (Art driving) out to cottage on the lake, which they have rented for this week.Hank down for supper—Onion Omlete [sic]— Aug. 6—(Wed)All dry on the Dutchman’s Creek picture. The work went well (using the idea I developed in Friday’s sketch).Aug 7 (Thurs.).B & I to girl’s cottage on the lake—taking supper
