Letter from F.W.—he agrees with me more or less about the gallery problem, except that he made the point that Frank should only continue the gallery because he himself wants it, and not because of consideration for the painters. He said he had finally joined the equity after talks with Mrs. F, Knoll & [CD] but “I have never joined anything concerning Art and Artists I was not later sorry for.
