A wonderful dinner—roast turkey— A pleasant stimulating evening—Mrs. Faris story of getting out of a portrait but of herself – Mrs. F. & Herman Moore strongly in favor of the Equity. Friday— M & I doing more sightseeing—Empire State Building—Century Club (on cards from Moe – Houdon and David). Lunch at Automat. M to Modern Museum—late P.M. to gallery— Dinner with Frank & Margaretta—George also there—a gay hilarious dinner & evening. To train at 11:30— Saturday—arrival at Station—no one to meet me & no sign of Mart—after almost an hour, I become genuinely worried, and just as I make up my mind to call the police I see M & B & A looking for me—they had gone and sat down along the wall, and we missed each other.
