will. The whole thing crystallized this morning, and tho the entry day had closed, I called up to see if it would be O.K. for me to send. The [sic] said it would if I could bring them out to day. So, I did.
Afterwards then, the thought came to both of us, it might be possible (tho indeed unlikely) that I receive one of the prizes, which I would not want to happen. Calling Ruthie I asked him if I could designate them as not contending for prizes. He objected, however, saying that others might like to do the same. We left it, but he would think it over, and I had the feeling that he did not understand my motive but that I was presuming a lot, thinking I might get a prize, and that I was trying to prevent any not getting a prize, or a minor one. Whereas, I had suggested no suffice announcement of my not contending be made.
So, like the time “introvert” I am supposed to be I imagined far into the night, over an incident that should never have happened in the first place.
