God bless you all.; ; ; ; ; Frank – “; This letter put me into such a warm contented frame of mind, that when late afternoon of that same day, as I was sipping a cup of coffee, and looking over the paper, Bertha called my attention to the sky, the scene outside was transformed, and I made some pencil notes, from which the next day, I made a little water color, which I sent to P & F as a Christmas Greeting.; Yesterday, I received this letter from F:; Dear Charlie – ; ; “A star pierces the Clouds” has walked right into all our hearts. It is a beautiful thing, painted as only you can paint; and conveying the whole point of the Christmas Time – for quite aside from the aptness of its theme & even its beauty as a work of art; it was painted with love & we like to feel came to us in that same spirit. We are so glad Bertha looked out just when she did & that you left that tempting cup of coffee – for the result is one of our prize possessions. ; Charlie I think we got almost the same sort of thrill out of your happy letter as apparently you did out of mine.
