Evening, B & I to Boston Symphony Concert to hear the Sibelius 2nd.
It has been so long since I have been to a concert that everything was full of tremendous & exciting interest. Even the Haydn Symphony was interesting to watch. The Sibelius filled the 2nd half of the program - a grand experience. Afterwards we walked part way down town, and everything in the city seemed transfigured.
After we left the city line, the snow was blowing and drifting so across the road that I could not see the road, and we had to creep along slowly. With the Sibelius motives going thru my head, it seemed like a grand adventure to be going along so.
