An undeclared antipathy between K & W – K, knowing W’s distaste for off-color stories, dug up from his memory the most lurid ones he could, most of them revolting even to the most tolerant person. When these were received in absolute silence from all of us, he would desist for awhile (sic). – (The one flaw in an otherwise congenial outing); After a drink at a farm springhouse we climbed Round Knob where we ate our lunch, and revelled (sic) in the view over the countless rolling hills –; On our way again; - turn off on an old abandoned road, where we found a clean stream, in which we swam and bathed.; Arrive at Wellsville late afternoon – Our first objective Enos Moon’s Lunch-room - As we went in three young girls, obviously identical triplets, were just on their way out.
