It is a rampant march day, the wind runs out of the West all day while vivid patches of cerulean & cobalt show thru the yellow pink clouds – Last night’s rain but a glare of ice on a round brick stack, which at sunset catches the sunlight.[i]

The earth is trembling; the factory stacks stand pale against the pink & cerulean sky; the smoke breaks off from their black tops almost at right angles rushing to the northwest away from the sun, a train whistle roars and a shiny black pipe has a streak of gold on it –[ii]
