[inscription reads] " trees against the late afternoon sky. / Feb 19, 1915 / Day opens with a heavy frost. Early long streamers come and streaks the sky. Sunlight becomes hazy. On a walk in park at noon I note how intensely quiet it is. Spring was in the air. They are burning wood in the park - the blue smoke going up thru (sic) the sun misty trees is a rare sight and the scent – intoxicating! / Evening to Bal Masque given by Kokoon Klub.
