[inscription reads] " of blue sky and yellow sunshine. Wind was from northeast. The sky was intensely satisfying. I was quite content merely to look at it, Yet with all the sky and sunshine, and yellowed trees, there was not such a feeling of Spring as on darker days. It was one of those rare days which belong to no month or season but are just days in themselves, never to be repeated again. / Feb 18, 1915. / A glorious day. Dawn clear. A Heavy frost that bristles the grass white. At 10:30 sketching in park. "
