[inscription reads] Dec 7, 1914 / Continued rain & lowering weather. The day is not un-pleasant. As I walk thru (sic) Wade Park at late afternoon sound of rain hit leaves Downtown - Lights a wonderful sight in the rain-foamy air. Bought toys for Herbert, Donald & Dolores. / To Glenville High. / Dec. 8, 1914. / Morning shows a white earth. Tree branches all topped with thick snow. Air full of fine snow coming from Northeast. Nature is now grey & white again. Thru (sic) Wade Park to school. Wierd- (sic)
