I was admiring the size & odor of the blossoms when K told me of how quickly they opened. He discovered a bud and was just saying “This is new, I don’t think it will open for awhile”, when as he held it, it uncurled and opened with a slight spring, causing us to bate our breaths. B said it was a near life as he ever observed in a plant, probably meaning active life quick enough for us to see.(HT)Saw the moon was in the first quarter.
