breezy maple!(HT)Heavy dew. Air cold. Fine bracing morning. Dapples & whisps of white clouds. The earth is greener & fresher. Saw an apple tree on Vine St. whose leaves seemed like Virgin leaves. This will be a Thoreaus ideal autumn. Heavy white mist covers sky at noon. Sun a dim glow.I had just made up my mind that evening would be ushered only a grey sky when a faint pink glow in a cloud up a ways from the horizon attracted my eye.
