chen. Coming over night, we are inclined to imagine the damp mists brought them out. At evening I dug one out, but the air was too dusky to see the spider plainly. It was small & greyish.(HT)At sunset the whole sky was a brilliant salmon, which cast a warm glow over the earth, and brought us running outdoors. The clouds overhead & far to the east were touched highly on one side, yet the mass of color was in the northwest. What wonderful pebbled beaches - violet sand with salmon pebbles
