Noon - sky opaqued. Dense blue haze.Now that the sunflowers discs have turned downward the seeds blackening, the air rollicks with the dipping chipper of gold finches.Saw on Main an English sparrow pursue and capture a small white moth in mid-air. The simplicity of sunflower’s manner of scattering seed is fine & characteristic of the plant. The sparrows & gold finches anticipate nature however - already part of discs are cleaned.(HT)Jack in the pulpit berries
