under berry laden elders, hung with scarlet nightshade I find its source among a heap of mossy sandstones - the hillside here seems composed of much - at once I set to clearing a place to make a small basin. A lizard. Water so cold my hands become numbed. Soon have deep basin. Sit down to watch “smoky” water clear.
