Small-flowered wild sunflower in bloom, taller than my head, which toward hill top grew more numerous.Come to open fields topping Dutchman’s Hill.A chestnut tree is most picturesque especially if part of it has been removed. It is remarkable how they became hollow, and the tree outwardly seems healthy. One here which had been struck by lightning and which, tho not badly shattered, had died.
