Under their shade I sit.There is no wind blown tree as beautiful as the cottonwood. Coming over hill, come upon patch of pink thoroughwort andgoldenrod - rare color combination. Dense growth of small which aster in full bloom.As no where else in its course is the Beaver as densely lined with such luxuriant willows as here. Water vaguely sulphurous and flecked with brown scum. Stichtite in full bloom here. That delicate pink flower - greenish indigo when in bud - is worthy of a better
