wings forming a brownish blur around them.On both sides came the beautiful songs of peter-birds & cardinals - the white mists had found a voice!(HT)I am loath to leave this hill where I can view the wonderful scene in the Valley of the Beaver. As the sun goes higher, the nearer trees are edged with a spotted sparkle, and the trees in the Dutchman’s are turned to blue transpared marble, the sunward edges lit up yellow by the light.(HT)(HT)The morning breath - coming from the southeast + laden with memories of dewy grass
