underwing (Triphaena pronuba).(HT)A large flock of robins in cherry trees + big ash tree at end of Bentley’s fly up at my approach, the sun shining on their wings renders them transparent. From now on until early Spring they will congregate thus in flocks and providing the food supply is sufficient will remain all winter.(HT)While sitting here, I noticed a large yellow orbweaver. Desiring to see to what extent he would defend himself I took a twig & commenced tapping
