to continue in rythmical motion its bluntly acute tail now dipping forward and again its head. A sparrow alights near it. I expect to see hummingbird take flight but seemed undisturbed except that it watched every move of the larger bird, which did not see the smaller one – I noticed this peculiarity. Wheras other birds look out from the side of its head & incline the head in a side-wise motion, the humming bird looks directly in front, its long slender bill always pointed at the sparrow like an accusing
