The sun is sultry. The wind grows stronger and now & then tears leaves from the trees. / Elacampane patch here. A strong sturdy plant. Its wiry petals form a fringe around the bunchy seed head. A peculiar fungus has coated the leaves with a milk white thus we have this combination "
