[inscription reads] " sunset hour. The cicadas have commenced to send their pulsing crescendo from tree to tree. Swallows overhead. Buttonwoods choppy foliage catches the sunlight in a way no other tree does. / The haze is becoming golden. A catbird meows, Bobwhite. But above all, cicadas predominate. / Bouncing Bet in bloom. The remainder of twilight is spent at Beech. / A few cloud leftovers in the southern to salmon after sun has disappeared. Goes well with the blue & violet haze in the trees. The moon- "
