July 14, 1914(HT)The supposed drought has been broken.(HT)(HT)Sunday opened warm & clear and it seemed as tho the drought were to continue. Day was deadeningly sultry. No relief could be found, even in shade. Towards sunset hour a short severe storm came and passed, leaving behind a wet earth and strong cool wind.(HT)That was the start. Yesterday and today have been cool, showery days and nature is young again.(HT)July 15, 19l5(HT)The “wet season” continues.
