. And what a thought comes from that. As the years go on and on in endless succession, each one more splendid than the last, what will the final year be? Even now life seems as tho it could not be better, but I have only made a start as yet. Many things are before me.
Oh it is wonderful to be merely alive - merely? did I say. Ah what more can I ask than just to be alive?
Sometimes I wonder if I am too self-satisfied or too exuberant over my possessions. But my joys and treasurers are of that nature that every person on earth however poor - in a pecuniary way - may have an equal share. Mere money I have not. I could use some, for my finances are in a negative condition, but it does not bother me. My other treasures are so great that the matter of financial embarassment is completely overshadowed.
