This morning John told me that he was going to see to it that I received pay for an extra week.
Bill and his mother left for Cleveland this afternoon.
This afternoon, some office girls, who had been spending the day at Diehl’s Lake, came in, and put a turtle in John’s desk. Contrary to our expectations, he was furious on discovering it even when he learned a girl had done it. Miss Thorpe however, was game and only laughed at him.
Evening finds us at the picture-shows again.
