chum and also lives in Beulah Michigan. Once Bailey, in one of her letters to her (Louise O.) introduced the whole family. We all proceeded to write letters to her then. Then this summer in a letter to Bailey I put in a note for Louise. She answered with a card in an envelope. I understood and answered with a letter, I have heard twice from her since the second letter being the one concerning the death of Alice’s Mother.
I feel awfully sorry for “Mother” Bailey. I wrote her a letter tonight, tho it was little enough I could say. I also wrote a letter to Louise.
Yesterday morning Mother said to me that Bob Atchison was coming up to See Joe who was going to inform him that he was going to school. “The die is cast” she added. We were uncertain as to how Bob would take it, but he was very nice about it and said many complimentary things.
