77. it since last summer, Bertha declared that we had passed it recently. All this led to an excuse to go out for a little ride, altho it was dark and raining steadily, - We first settled the Stolle road spelling which was as I have written it. We went down it then to Creek Rd. This was a delightful little passage. Bertha drove so I could give all my attention to looking. We stopped at a garage in East Elma to inquire about Blood Rd. it turned out that we both were right about this Rd. We had been on it last July, but in as much as it runs thru to Seneca St., we had passed it while going to E. Aurora on Good Friday. The garage man recognized me – he had seen me painting the “Flower Bed in Spring” and “Spring Landscape” – we continue down Creek Rd; a hill on the left slanting up from the road, mostly wooded, and looking wild and romantic. On Blood Rd to Seneca, thence into Spring Brook,[turn] off at__________ rd., along a beautiful ravine – thence to Transit & home by way of Angle Rd., to East & West Rd., and Union.
