Charles E. Burchfield (1893-1967)

Doctors Ramsdell Gurney, an internist and friend, and James E. Ehinger were Charles Burchfield's physicians when he made this doodle. TT4-3626 was the telephone number for Dr. Theodore H. Noehren, an associate professor of medicine at the Medical School of the University of Buffalo and pulmonary disease specialist, to whom Burchfield was referred.
