Stayed in house awhile so Bertha could walk out and see the effect of the storm. Then out myself with sketchbook — walk around town — men shoveling snow off Union Road near Seneca Creek Rd. – piles higher than my head.
P.M. to Buffalo to sketch and take Bertha’s “Daffodils” to be reframed – walk in Indian Church Road almost to R.R. before bus comes along. At framers meet Carl Bredemeier. My business dispatched – I walk out Sycamore, then Clinton and then Eagle – studying snow effects...
