April 14 – 1934 – In studio most of day, studying the “Two Hollows” picture, and the “Hermitage*” — rearranging some of the racks. Strong snow-flurries & alternate sunshine. It was snowing once at 42° — A.M. play some Negro Spiritual Records.
April 15 – A. M. To Ebenezer to make color sketch of ice formations. A soft warm day of misty sunlight — pleasant to be among the long willow switches by the creek’s edge.
