A warm muggy day.
P.M. – the T.V. Broadcast [with Burchfield on-air] – an interesting experience in one way, but a terribly crude and “low-brow” performance otherwise. One concession – Blaustein & I were permitted to describe out pictures as we wished but we had to share 5 minutes of time! The rest was too childish to waste time on describing – Keller’s (the announcer) plea: art has to be presented to the “people” by easy stages – but that’s a fallacy: art cannot be brought to the public by any kind of stages –
