Not quite so cold— sunny and bright (+12°)
In studio, working on the journals some more—
Edna Lindemann called while I was gone. Bertha still talking to her when I returned, and then I talked— They have a list of 44 pictures they want to invite— The Inaugural is set for April 24 (two reception nights— one for the dedication of eight buildings and one for the Fine Arts Buildings and the Exhibition*— She thought we would not care to come to the first — and she is so right!) They want to come out soon to look at what we have here—
Evening music— Dvorák’s quintet (Piano) Opus 81— We used to call it our theme music— We sat and listened to it together, reminiscing about the Spring of 1952—
Then one side of the Early American-Moravian music— austere, and deeply religious, — beautiful music.
