We both felt restless after the week-ends business so we went to Buffalo to see the Nun’s Story again. As fine and beautiful as the first viewing –
As we came out from the theatre, the brilliant daylight blinded us – the Electric Bldg. looked especially beautiful – its architecture is timeless; it will be considered beautiful when modernistic architecture will look hopelessly dated –
At Huron and Washington, on our way to the Mohawk Ramp, we turned and looked westward. I was amazed at the incredible beauty of the scene, these commonplace buildings and electric sign supports (the Genesee Bldg) seemed translated into fabulous objects – Am I about to do more city-scapes! And in a totally new manner? The world is new to me again – as if just created How can I thank God for this renewal of spirit?
