To early service – Hank & Peggy with us.
Noon – to Richters – for a wiener roast. As it was raining we ate inside – Hank roasted the wiener outside & Mart made French-fried potatoes, - a good dinner - & a good time
P.M. – T.V. & cards.
Late P.M. – [Martha, Bertha] & I to Art Institute for the McPherson opening, while Hank took the children to a movie. McPherson’s show very good.
Home – dropped Betty off at her home - & Mart on home with us. Played for her the Mozart Paris Symphony & Dvorak Wood-Dove. Then, Hank being home, I drove her over.
Then B & I had toast & hot milk – listening to radio.
