December 25 –
A sunny morning –
Picked Peggy up on the way to church (as she wanted to take communion with us) –
After church to R’s – where, with the Lucks we were royally entertained with a fine dinner (baked ham) – The day spent in talk and simple activities. Sometime David played the piano, alone, or in duets with Peggy or Mart.
When we arrived home about 9:30 call from Salem – Louise, Irma, Time + Louise Orwald – Tim announced that he and Louise O. were to be married probably next August.
